Daniel Zhang was raised in Richmond, British Columbia. An aspiring performance pianist, Daniel began his piano studies at the age of four and has developed a passion for music and its historical and societal significance. He received the ARCT Diploma at the Royal Conservatory of Music in August of 2021, with first-class honours and distinction for his excellence in Harmony & Counterpoint, Music History, and Musical Analysis. He is currently studying for his undergraduate Piano Performance Major at the University of British Columbia under Dr. David Fung.
Daniel is greatly interested in collaborative performance and has accompanied many musicians for gigs and performance examinations.
