Get funding to host your next event at Robson Square

Get up to $5,000 plus promotional and logistical support to bring your event to life at UBC Robson Square.

UBC Connects at Robson Square supports innovative, public engagement programming at UBC Robson Square. Located in the heart of downtown Vancouver and minutes away from the Skytrain and the Canada Line, Robson Square is the perfect venue to bring people together and connect communities with UBC.  

Get help planning your next workshop, film screening, public talk, or even pop-up concert. Recipients will receive venue space and A/V equipment free of cost, as well as up to $5,000 worth of subsidies that can be used to cover speaker fees, honoraria, catering, and more. Additionally, UBC staff can help you with event promotion, event planning, program design, and on-the-day support to ensure your event runs smoothly. 

This initiative is open to UBC students, faculty, staff, and alumni, as well as community partners who are working in collaboration with UBC.  

Applications will remain open until October 31, 2023 or until available funds are exhausted.
