“Larry Loyie: Writing is Healing” Exhibition Launch at IRSHDC

Join the Indian Residential School History and Dialogue Centre for our new exhibition!

This November, IRSHDC is proud to announce a new exhibit – Larry Loyie: Writing is Healing. Featuring a digital and physical collection of materials, this exhibit will introduce you to the life and work of Larry Loyie – a playwright, poet and author who turned to writing on his own healing journey as a Residential School Survivor. His work has opened up healing pathways and supported the education of others.

The exhibition is open to the public on NOVEMBER 5, and to celebrate, we are hosting a MEET & GREET with Larry’s co-author and partner CONSTANCE BRISSENDEN!

Join us in the IRSHDC Gallery to meet Constance and view the exhibition. Constance will be presenting live readings of Larry’s work at 1 and 3 PM.
