Date: Mon Sept 12

Time: 5:30pm-6:30pm Pacific Time

Title: Applying Disruptive Technology to Quant Investing

Location: Virtual Zoom; Link will be sent to RSVP list on the morning of the event.

Description:

Come learn about Quant Software Development from Jon/Sonny/Nolan, who are part of the Quantitative Systems Team in Connor Clark and Lunn Investment Management, a top performing quantitative equity fund that manages over $20 billion in financial assets. This is a fantastic opportunity in the exciting intersection of finance and technology where investment decisions are made using technology. Quantitative equity funds use programmed investment strategies and as a result, our developers are crucial to its success.

The team is headquartered and deeply rooted in West Coast Vancouver. We place high value on maintaining an entrepreneurial spirit and creating a culture where each of us has opportunities to succeed.

As we aim to maintain a work environment where we have a high level of enjoyment surrounded by people we like working with and respect, we take a lot of care in hiring.  We are actively hiring for several fulltime openings in our software team.  This event will involve a short presentation and an opportunity to speak with members of our team (group lead and recent joiners).  Dress code for this event is casual.
