About the Masterclass
Russia’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine has upended the post-Cold War security order in Europe, which had been based on the assumption that Russia did not pose a direct threat to the peace of the continent. What does the invasion portend for Europe’s future and for relations between “the west” and Russia? Are we heading towards a new Cold War, or something else? And what does it mean for Canada?
The class is free and open to the broader UBC community, but participants are asked to register in advance. The Masterclass will be moderated by Dr. Lisa Sundstrom, Professor in the UBC Department of Political Science.
