Many community members are experiencing trauma and distress in response to the death of Mahsa Amini and the unfolding situation in Iran. While this is a period of pain, sadness and uncertainty, please know you are not alone. We invite UBC community members to come together in solidarity, process in a safe space, and find strength in one another. Light refreshments will be served.

Please note that while all UBC community members are welcome, this space centers the voices and experiences of Iranian community members impacted by the events in Iran.

This gathering is hosted by the Iranian Professionals Network and the UBC Persian Club, and is supported by the Equity & Inclusion Office.
