Open Education 101

Would you like to learn more about open education and open educational resources but don’t know where to start? This introductory workshop is for you. This session will provide an overview to the open education movement including what it is and why it matters.

Open Education allows educators to share, manage and use education resources such as open textbooks, lesson plans, quizzes, videos, interactive activities and presentations. Institutions, organizations, and individuals from around the world committed to the ideals of Open Education are welcome to join, engage and contribute to Open Education Week.
