Artist Talk – Bettina Matzkuhn presents Meteobotany

Join Bettina Matzkuhn, the multimedia artist behind Meteobotany, at the next Beaty Biodiversity Museum Nocturnal on October 19^th, 2023. Bettina will talk about the process of making her textile works featuring embroidered lichen specimens over BC weather patterns, including iteration and experimentation to combine a range of materials with a scientific and creative perspective. Admission by donation from 5pm (UBC students, staff, and faculty always have free admission), artist talk at 6pm.
