All Our Father’s Relations: Film Screening and Dialogue on Settler Colonialism, Identity, and Migration

Join The Ismaili Centre, Vancouver and UBC Connects at Robson Square for a free, exclusive screening of All Our Father’s Relations on Tuesday, June 14 from 5-8 PM. Following the film will be an in-person talkback with Elder Larry Grant, film director Alejandro Yoshizawa, and co-producer Sarah Ling moderated by UBC students Kira Doxtator, Raiyana Alibhai, and Nadia Walji. In a special partnership with UBC AMS Indigenous Committee, this discussion will explore how settler colonialism and migration continue to impact Indigenous communities and the shared histories and responsibilities of non-Indigenous migrant communities.
