Stories of the Land

Stories of the Land is a concert focusing on Canadian Indigenous choral music and features many composers with ties to the Vancouver area. At the heart of the program is a major commission from composer T. Patrick Carrabré and librettist Jean Teillet, both of Métis heritage, which reflects on the history, character, and culture of the Métis nation. Rounding out the program are pieces by Sherryl Sewepagaham, Russell Wallace, Alexis Vollant, and Andrew Balfour. Join us as we close out our season in the magnificent Sty-Wet-Tan Great Hall at the First Nations Longhouse.
