Plaiting Stories: Reflections on Indigenous Networks

December 16, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Free

The English Language and Literatures graduate course Indigenous Literary Networks taught by Dr. Alice Te Punga Somerville is pleased to invite you to our research event, “Plaiting Stories: Reflections on Indigenous Networks,” on December 16th from 12-3 pm in The Dodson Room at Irving K. Barber Learning Centre. This event will consider how the term “Indigenous” can build networks not bound by borders through the encounters between our research presentations and creative work on global Indigenous texts. If you are working with Indigenous creative work, we invite you to bring a poem, artwork, or other creative text to share. Please RSVP by December 14th at the link below. We look forward to seeing you there!
