Description:
With food prices escalating across the country, we are all looking for ways to save on groceries. Participants will learn how to create healthy and financially sustainable meal plans, including useful tips on price matching and coupon and rebate apps for frugal shopping. This workshop will also how to prep food once it is purchased, food storage to prolong freshness and understanding “best before” dates as well as how to access discounted food items using apps.
About Your Facilitator:
Sheilagh Cahill (she/her) is a Financial Educator with the Credit Counselling Society (CCS), a non-profit organization. Her focus is on presenting financial literacy webinars for the workplace. She enjoys championing the positive impact financial wellness provides for employees: improved wellbeing resulting in reduced stress, increased morale, engagement, and productivity.
Sheilagh enjoys building partnerships and developing awareness about the programs and services provided by CCS. She has over 10 years of experience in business development, project management, and producing television. Sheilagh earned a Certificate in Entertainment Administration from UBC, a Diploma in Business Management from Capilano University, and a Certified Educator in Personal Finance designation from the Centre for Financial Certifications.
