About the speakers
Navi Gill
Navdeep (Navi) Gill is an Ayurveda practitioner, educator, and therapist specializing in lifestyle consulting, Marma Chikitsa therapy, and Nadi Pariksha (pulse assessment) foundational Panchakarma bodywork.
She helps clients experience holistic wellness and gain autonomy over their wellbeing through Ayurveda, yoga, meditation, herbalism and pranayam. Her work focuses on decolonizing, reclaiming, and connecting IBPOC to ancestral wisdom and ritual as a form of self care and liberation.
Morgan Switzer-Rodney
Morgan Switzer-Rodney is a Black, queer, interdisciplinary practitioner. She is a co-curator of the salon series Black Chat; a sex and reproductive health advocate and educator; and an artist and community organizer. Morgan’s practice is rooted in conversation, communal care, and being a part of the experience. She believes in ancestral memory and abolition, and encourages everyone to explore the complexity of the messiness that is the human experience.
Courtenay Gibson
Courtenay Gibson is a member of the Musqueam Indian Band and has worked as the Recreation Manager for nearly 15 years. She has also served as a senior manager for departments focused on delivering social programs in the health, education, social development, employment, and childcare sectors.
