This webinar explores menopause through an inclusive, Indigenous-informed lens, recognizing life-stage transitions as natural and meaningful passages rather than experiences defined only by a clinical framework. Participants will gain insight into hormonal changes alongside cultural perspectives and holistic approaches that honour diverse experiences, shared wisdom, and whole-person health.
JOIN US TO LISTEN, REFLECT AND SHARE! Indigenous storytellers will share lived experiences and creative expressions that honour relationships to land, people, and the rights of nature in the context of the climate crisis. Following the presentations, we will reflect together on how community and academic approaches engage with Indigenous territories.
All departments and UBC-affiliated organizations are invited to promote their event through UBC Events.
