Student Film Mini Festival on National Canadian Film Day!

Join UBC Theatre and Film for a free mini film festival to celebrate National Canadian Film Day!

Five short films created by students in the FIPR 469 class will be screened, as part of the Rogers Multicultural Film Program. These films explore stories about community and culture through our students’ diverse global perspectives.

The course is taught by instructor Alejandro Yoshizawa in support with Kathleen Jayme, our 2021/22 Phil Lind Multicultural Artist in Residence.

There will be a reception (with refreshments) following the screening, where a winner will be announced!

Free to attend with registration.

Schedule:
6:00 pm – Doors open
6:30 pm – Screenings start
7:30 pm – Post show reception & winners announced
