Let’s Imagine: Campus Vision 2050

You are invited to virtually join fellow members of the UBC community and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) to start imagining the future of the UBC Vancouver campus. Transport yourself to 2050 through a presentation by Prof. Minelle Mahtani and a moderated discussion with a panel of community members.

This is one of many speaker and engagement activities that will happen throughout Campus Vision 2050 – a comprehensive planning and engagement process led by UBC Campus and Community Planning to develop a long term vision for the Vancouver campus. Minelle Mahtani, Associate Professor at the Institute for Social Justice and the Brenda and David McLean Chair in Canadian Studies

Moderator:
Larry Beasley, former Chief Planner for the City of Vancouver

Panelists:
– Moura Quayle, Vice-Provost and Associate Vice-President, Academic Affairs
– Wade Grant, xʷməθkʷəy̓əm representative
– Alex Volkoff, Resident on campus with links to UBC dating back to 1927
– Will Shelling, Masters of Public Policy and Global Affairs student
