Faculty Roundtable: Navigating the Future of GenAI in Education

November 14, 2023 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am

This event is part of the Teaching and Learning with GenAI Symposium.

Generative AI has entered our educational landscape, impacting how we teach and how we guide students’ learning. At this roundtable discussion, faculty members from different disciplines will share their thoughts on how generative AI impacts education in the following ways:

  1. Assessments Reimagined: How does Generative AI transform skill and knowledge assessments, while balancing fairness and innovation?
  2. Integration into Teaching: How may we integrate AI into our teaching practices from creating cases to providing personalized feedback?
  3. Cultivating Creativity: How may we foster students’ creativity and independent thoughts?
  4. Practical Considerations: How may we address privacy, ethics, and biases?

Join us as we shape a future where technology enhances learning while preserving connection in the classroom.
