Faculty of Medicine Data Management Day 2024

Connect with colleagues, learn about cutting edge Faculty of Medicine research projects and the technologies supporting them at the inaugural UBC Medicine Data Management Day in-person or online on Tuesday, November 19.

Presented by the Faculty of Medicine Digital Solutions Data Management Team, Faculty of Medicine researchers will share how they use Data Management team-supported tools to enable and support their research.

Learn about province-wide projects such as a data platform to support substance use care, research and education and a comprehensive provincial intubation registry, a home-based data collection application in perinatal substance use research, and hear about the challenges and benefits of migrating a biobank to electronic data platforms like REDCap and OpenSpecimen. Explore the integration of AI and machine learning in global research initiatives, and learn about what’s new and what’s next from the Faculty of Medicine Data Management Team.
