This in-person workshop takes place at Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, BC and is intended for midwives, nurse practitioners, nurses, family physicians, physician assistants and residents. It was developed to provide training in a Canadian context for entry-level skills for surgical assist with a focus on obstetrics.
Participants review articles and discuss clinical cases with specialists on topics relevant to rural anesthesia practice, including obstetrics, pain management and induction agents.
