SaP Fund Proposal Information Session
December 2, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
FreeThe Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology will discuss the newly launched Students as Partners in Course Design grants (https://sap.ubc.ca/). Funded through the Student Support Initiative, these grants support UBC Vancouver undergraduate students working in partnerships with faculty to redesign UBCV undergraduate courses. Students as Partners in Course Design partnerships position students as collaborators in the academic mission of the University.
This information session will focus on the concept of students as partners (SaP), explain how this work is different from hiring students as employees, share examples of past SaP work at UBC, and provide an overview of the grant information.
The session runs for the first hour, with the optional 30 minute section at the end, where attendees can share and workshop project ideas and receive consultation support from CTLT staff.
