Our Futures Together: Imagine Lab

This International Development Week, join the UBC Global Lounge, the Gesturing Towards Decolonial Futures Collective, and the Middle East Studies Student Association in transforming the discourse around international development by engaging with decolonial ways of knowing and being that highlight our interconnectedness to the planet and each other. As many of us feel hopeless and disempowered by the complexity of the challenges facing humanity, this event invites us to focus on building resilience through healing and wellbeing grounded in learning from human wrongs, the violence, and the unsustainability caused by humanity so we can only make different mistakes in the future and (co)exist differently.
