Faculty of Medicine Career Day

We are excited to announce the Faculty of Medicine’s Career day! This annual event provides postdoctoral fellows and graduate students in the Faculty of Medicine with the opportunity to connect and network with professionals working in a variety of different careers.

Event Highlights:
— A panel discussion with experts and professionals in diverse career pathways in industry, academia (teaching and research), and non-academic jobs in academic settings
— Small group mentoring sessions: During the event, participants will have an opportunity to connect directly with panelists in a small group setting for mentoring sessions on the topics like; Job search in the industry, Early career in academia, Women in the academic careers, Experience with the job search as an international student, Career as a Clinician Scientist. Preparing applications for faculty positions
— A workshop on “Build a professional network and optimize your LinkedIn profile”
— A session on Science Communication
