Rent – A Place Vanier Musical Production

Rent is a rock musical that follows a group of Bohemians in East Village New York in the mid-90s. Set over a year, watch this group deal with love, loss, AIDS, and life itself.

Seussical the Musical – A Totem Park Musical Committee Production
When: March 12, 13, 14 at 7:00 PM
Where: Totem Park Residence Ballroom
Tickets: $8
Seussical is based on Dr. Seuss’ most famous books including Horton Hears a Who!, Green Eggs and Ham, and The Cat in the Hat. The stories are creatively interwoven in a comedic fashion.

Happy Days – A UBC Musical Theatre Troupe Production
When: March 26, 27 at 7:00 PM and March 28 matinee 3:00 PM, evening show 7:00 PM
Where: Student Union Building Ballroom
Tickets: $10, sold at the door
The New Musical of Happy Days features all your favourite characters such as Richie Cunningham and Pinky Tuscadero doing all they can to save Arnold’s malt shop. They go through a series of adventures, dance-offs, and even a wrestling match!

Triumph of Love – A Theatre at UBC Production
When: March 19-April 4, 7:30PM
Where: Frederic Wood Theatre
Tickets: $11.50-$24.50
This modern musical adaptation of Marivaux’s 18th century romantic comedy follows Princess Leonide as she literally wears the pants so that her beloved Agis can return to his rightful throne. Leonide must rescue her man before his stuffed-shirt uncle and sourpuss aunt find out who’s really beneath those ever-changing bodices and breaches.
