Funding Opportunities for UBC–Germany Collaboration

Join for two in-person sessions highlighting funding opportunities for UBC–Germany collaboration, featuring speakers from German funding agencies & UBC researchers.

This first session (1-2:30pm) will provide an overview of the German research landscape and funding opportunities in support of research activities in Germany, presented by representatives from the DFG (the German Research Foundation) and the DAAD (the German Academic Exchange Service). The second session (3-4:00pm) will feature a faculty panel who will share insights on their experience of collaborating with German partners and success in securing research funding from Germany. The information presented will be relevant to faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and PhD students from across the disciplinary spectrum. Attendees can register for one or both sessions.
