Enhancing Couples Relationships Workshop
February 14 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Audience: All faculty and staff at UBC Vancouver and Okanagan
This is a one-hour instructor-led training session that combines lecture elements with a variety of engaging elements like Q&A, group discussion, as well as polling and chat functionality.
A loving relationship can be one of the most rewarding experiences in life. Early on, people tend to focus most of their energy and attention on their partner and the relationship — laughter and compromise come easy, and the relationship may seem effortless. However, as people move through life with a partner, many difficulties will arise to challenge that harmony. This seminar will focus on strategies to help participants build and maintain mutually satisfying relationships, even when times get tough.
Participants will learn to:
- Recognize common relationship challenges
- Apply the methods to improve communication and resolve conflict
- Enhance romance and intimacy
- Implement strategies for building healthy relationships based on trust and commitment.
Closed captioning will be enabled.
