Lion Dance @ Beaty Museum – UBC Kung Fu

The UBC Kung Fu Club has partnered with the Beaty Museum on campus to showcase a live lion dance presentation in celebration of the Lunar New Year. Don’t miss out on this unique experience and celebrate this tradition with your friends.

Wesbrook Village Lunar New Year

Bring your family and join others at Wesbrook Village in celebrating the Year of the Rat. This family event at the Wesbrook Community Center will feature an indoor lion dance, cultural dance performances, music, games, crafts and other exciting activities. Come celebrate and learn more about Asian culture with the community on campus.

Chinese Language Program – 2020 Lunar New Year Celebration

The Chinese Language Program, co-hosted by UBC Chinese Music Club & UBC Asian Studies, is providing all an opportunity to celebrate the New Year on campus. This event will highlight the large diversity that celebrates Lunar New Year and showcase various performances and activities from a range of cultures. This fun-packed event is an amazing way to not only celebrate but also learn about different cultures.
