Multidisciplinary Undergraduate Research Conference 2016
MURC is a conference for UBC undergraduate students to showcase their research in front of their fellow UBC students, family, and friends. Researchers may choose one of two formats to showcase their research: presentation or poster.
Talk with Dr. Erica Frank
Erica Frank, MD, MPH has been internationally recognized for her work as a health educator, physician and activist. Dr. Frank is a Canada Research Chair in Preventive Medicine and Population Health at UBC, and the Founder of NextGenU.org. NextGenU.org is the first place in the world where anyone can take courses for credit for free thru collaboration with leading universities, professional societies, and government organizations. Dr. Frank will talk about the work of NextGenU.org and the possibility of expanding the course offerings and research conducted on them to include topics in education.

With stories from the world’s poorest people – from Peru to Malawi, there’s a great deal of innovation to help us imagine how the world can feed itself by 2050.
