U-Pick Pumpkin Piles at the UBC Farm
It’s the season for squash, pumpkins, pies, and jack-o-lanterns! Stock up on all your pumpkin needs at the UBC Farm, whether it be for carving or cooking. Piles are sorted by size and price, and they’re all located next to the Harvest Hut.

Halloween at Wesbrook
Halloween-themed events are happening at Wesbrook Village throughout the month of October. From movies to trick-or-treating, there is an abundance of family-friendly activities to join in on.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 20
UBC Modern Languages Club’s Halloween Movie Night & Bubble Tea
Explore Japanese cinema through the horror classic, The Ring (with English subtitles). Bring your friends, your appetite, and get ready for a good time. Stay for the bubble tea hangout afterward!

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 27
UBC Sci-fi & Fantasy Society’s Halloween Party
As per tradition, the UBC Sci-fi & Fantasy Society is hosting their Halloween party on the Friday preceding Halloween. Come by to carve pumpkins, eat pizza, and for a viewing of Stranger Things Season 2.

UBC Improv’s Halloween SpOoOky Show
Wear your best costume and head out to watch the UBC Improv’s Halloween show. They will have prizes for the best costume! Get there early and get ready to laugh.

AMS Presents: Scream
Prepare yourself for one of the largest Halloween parties at UBC. This will be a complete takeover of the Nest for a campus-wide, multi-stage party! The Great Hall will host the main stage and grounds and the Pit Pub will be transformed into the Dungeon Stage, immersing you in hip-hop, trap, and underground beats. Don’t forget to show up in your best costume.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 28
UBC Aqua Society’s Halloween Pumpkin Carving Club Dive
Looking for a more adventurous way to celebrate Halloween? The UBC Aqua Society will be trekking to Porteau Cove for their annual pumpkin carving Club Dive. First, you’ll carve your pumpkin and then you’ll explore one of the best lower mainland dive sites with artificial reefs and abundant marine life. There’ll be a BBQ lunch and potluck too.

UBC Anime Club’s Halloween Social
Join for a day of Halloween cosplay. There will be snacks, refreshments, a prize raffle, and sp00ky activities. End off the night with music and dancing!

Dive Rocky Horror Halloween: Time Warp
UBC’s arts & culture community is taking over Koerner’s Pub and turning it into the Frankenstein Place for a night of Rocky Horror-inspired Halloween debauchery. They’ll have live music, Halloween drink specials, and a photobooth.

Halloween Candy Bag Sale
The UBC Circle K International Club is holding a Halloween Candy Bag Sale! All proceeds are going to the BC Children’s Hospital, so head to the Nest to grab some treats for you and your friends.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 31
Halloween Karaoke
The UBC Community United Way Campaign has teamed up with Beta Theta Pi, Gamma Omicron Chapter of UBC, and the United Way of Lower Mainland to bring you a night of karaoke. Wear your best costume and spend a night with friends singing, all while supporting a great cause for the community.
