Historically viewed as declining, Newar Buddhism in Kathmandu has experienced a significant revival in recent years. Led by young leaders and supported by the community, it has introduced reforms and new institutions, exemplified by a new monastery in Lumbini. This resilience offers valuable insights into modern Buddhist revitalization worldwide.
