Writing for Graduate Success: Mastering the Literature Review

September 23 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

A strong literature review is more than a summary; it’s a scholarly conversation that positions your research within the field. However, writing a literature review can feel like navigating a maze of research. Join this practical, research-informed workshop to discover common structures and strategies for writing literature reviews that are purposeful, precise, and aligned with disciplinary expectations. Through guided analysis of peer-reviewed articles across disciplines, you’ll learn how to identify patterns in the literature, map scholarly debates, and build a compelling narrative that supports your research direction.

Facilitator: Dr. Xuan Zhang, Centre for Writing and Scholarly Communication

Location: IKBLC, Level 3, Dodson Room and on Zoom. Registrants receive the Zoom link 1 day prior to the workshop.
