Lucas Wong, piano

UBC alumnus and Lecturer in piano, Lucas Wong shares his “brilliant and sensitive” playing (Fanfare) and “gifts for color, nuance, and tasteful dynamic contrasts” (Gramophone) with a program of Wilhelm Taubert’s Sonatas No. 1 in A major and No. 2 in C minor.

 This performance coincides with the launch of Wong’s newly released album of Wilhelm Taubert’s Sonatas Nos. 1, 2, 4, and 6. This world premiere of Taubert’s work is on the Naxos label. 

CDs will be available for purchase following the performance with the artist available to sign copies.
