UBC CPD: The Menopause Essentials: After Hours
May 20 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Cost Varies.
Following the success of The Menopause Essentials conference, join us for a focused virtual evening session designed to continue the conversation and address the learning gaps identified by participants. This interactive session will begin with a brief expert presentation on perimenopause, followed by an extended 90-minute audience Q&A with a panel of specialists.
Perimenopause is often experienced as more complex and frustrating than menopause itself, and many clinicians report uncertainty around recognition, diagnosis, and management. This session will explore key questions such as when (and how) to start conversations with patients, how to approach irregular bleeding, when endometrial testing or biopsy may be appropriate, and strategies for suppressing and replacing hormones while tailoring therapy to individual patients.
The majority of the evening will be dedicated to audience questions, with practical discussion on common concerns including libido, brain fog, weight gain, hair loss, and sleep disturbances.
Bring your questions and join us for a dynamic, case-informed discussion aimed at improving confidence in diagnosing and supporting patients through perimenopause.
