Travelling Health Fair (Faculty/Staff)

Once a year, the Travelling Health Fair provides you with information, awareness, self-assessment, and personalized consultation on health topics of importance to you.
Brought to you by the UBC Health, Wellbeing, and Benefits team in partnership with the UBC Pharmacists Clinic. The event takes place May 26-28, 2026, and is available at no cost to UBC faculty, staff, postdoctoral fellows, and student staff.
TRAVELLING HEALTH FAIR 2026: SUMMER HEALTH
Summer brings more time outdoors and with it, added seasonal health risks. Heat exposure, wildfire smoke, sun damage, insect bites, and allergies can all affect your health and comfort. The 2026 UBC Travelling Health Fair focuses on key seasonal health topics to help you stay safe, active and informed.
During your visit, you may receive information on:
As part of this health fair, you will receive the following confidential services:
- Hydration and preventing heat-related illness
- Wildfire smoke and air quality guidance
- Sun safety and skin protection, including a UV camera demonstration to help visualize how well sunscreen has been applied
- Guidance on bites, stings, and rashes
- Optional one-on-one seasonal allergy assessment.
All health care services are provided by licensed pharmacists and pharmacy students from the Pharmacists Clinic at the UBC Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Who should attend? Open to faculty, staff, student staff, and post-doctoral fellows. Anyone looking to stay healthy and prepared this summer. Whether you work outdoors, enjoy hiking and camping, have seasonal allergies, or simply want practical tips for summer wellness, this event has something for you.
Appointments are approximately 30 minutes per participant.
