The Path Ahead for Innovation in Reimbursement

Join the Institute of Health Economics (IHE) for an in-person afternoon of presentations and panel discussion convened by the IHE Health Technology Innovation Platform. The program will include provincial, national, and international perspectives on the implementation of innovative reimbursement agreements to support the adoption of promising new technologies and deliver treatments to patients in a timely and sustainable manner. This event will showcase the findings of recent workshops on Outcomes-Based Agreements (OBA) that elicited a shared understanding of the future role of OBAs in Canada and identified common goals on the path to wider adoption of OBAs. Additional discussion will convene senior decision-makers, academics, patient representatives and industry on future outlook, priorities, and opportunities. The event will be followed by a reception.

This a pre-conference event for the UBC Centre for Health Services and Policy Research annual health policy conference: PharmaWhere? Exploring the Future of Drug Coverage in Canada, on March 5, 2024. Cost is $25 for conference registrants. If you would like to attend this pre-conference event only, the cost is $75.
