This science communication challenge showcases 6 undergraduate students presenting on complex science topics, theories, or concepts (without the use of academic slides or language) in a 5 minute time-limit.
Will our presenters communicate successfully to the audience? (aka, will our audience successfully understand the science?)
Science communication is a great skill for all science students: clear and simple explanations help us understand what is happening in cutting-edge research, global projects, and technological advancements. It is the bridge that brings science to the world.
Join us as our students take on this challenge! Full of fun facts, prizes and more, this event is guaranteed to inspire students with science!!
High School students are welcome!
For those who are interested in learning more about our undergraduate programs in the Department of Physics & Astronomy, advisors and staff will be available for questions after the event.
