Michael Smith Laboratories Special Seminar: Centre for Process Innovation hosted by Dr. Anna Blakney

Over the last two years, billions of people have been part of a pioneering vaccination roll-out with little appreciation of the speed at which scientists have worked to develop, optimise and trial these products. In this talk we hope to discuss how RNA vaccines are developed from IVT through to purified product, covering some of the analytical and scale up challenges faced along the way. We will also touch on final specification guidelines currently in place and a little overview of the IP landscape.
