M.A. and M.Ed. in Special Education Info session – focusing on Blindness and Low Vision concentration

This online information session is intended for certified teachers with a bachelor’s degree in teaching who are interested in advancing their knowledge and skills in the field of blindness and low vision through UBC’s master’s program. Participants will learn about program options (M.Ed. , M.A.), curriculum, admission requirements, application procedures, and key deadlines. The session will provide a glimpse into the specialized study areas, including braille literacy, low vision, assistive technology, orientation and mobility, and educational supports for K-12 students who are blind or have low vision. Program representatives will be available to answer questions and discuss how this specialized graduate program prepares educators to support students with visual disabilities.
