LDDI Summer Institute 2026

The LDDI Summer Institute 2026 celebrates emerging approaches to teaching and learning under this year’s theme: (Re)imagining Educational Futures.
Hosted by Learning Design and Digital Innovation (LDDI) and the Faculty of Education Working Groups, the Summer Institute features interactive workshops, panel discussions and presentations — with opportunities each day to connect with colleagues and engage with critical topics in education.
Day 1, presented by the Accessibility Working Group, features insightful conversations about accessibility in teaching, learning and research. Day 2, presented by the Artificial Intelligence Working Group, examines AI in education through a research-creation lens.
Open to UBC faculty, staff, students, and alumni, and educators in K–12 and higher education.
