Launch Your Career in Canada, hosted by the Centre for Student Involvement & Careers and Alumni UBC, is UBC’s annual networking experience open only to UBC international students, dedicated to supporting their career development. Each year, Launch Your Career in Canada provides opportunity for UBC’s international students to connect with alumni, who were once international students, and learn from their experience establishing their career.

International students will have the opportunity to hear from alumni and connect with industry professionals working across Canada, discover how to find work and research opportunities at UBC, develop job search skills, and learn how alumni made a successful transition from UBC to the Canadian workplace.

How to register
You will need to register for each session to attend.
1. Log into CareersOnline with your CWL and password.
2. Click on “Events” and select a session to learn more about it.
3. Click on “Attend” to register.
