La Francophonie scientifique à UBC

On October 22, 2025, the UBC Centre for Francophonie, in collaboration with the Association francophone pour le savoir (ACFAS), Le Secrétariat du Québec aux relations canadiennes and Le Consulat de France à Vancouver, invites Francophone researchers, and all researchers interested in working with Francophone Networks, from both campuses to a Wine & Cheese focused on networking and exchange.
We will have the honor of welcoming Mr. Benoit-Antoine Bacon, President of UBC.
The objectives of this event are to:
- Identify the needs of a growing Francophone research community.
- Support the development at UBC of an inclusive and sustainable network of knowledge in French or on topics related to the Francophone world.
- Increase the visibility of research in French at UBC and beyond.
- Highlight the contributions of Western Canadian institutions to Francophone research.
- Discover new tools to support Francophone research.
Radio-Canada will be covering the event and would like to interview participants. Come discuss your research and the Francophonie with Panorama host Rudy Desjardins!
