Financial Literacy for Students: Presented by Y Foundation in Partnership with CFEE and Gentai Capital Corporation

A guest speaker, Kevin Maynard from the Canadian Foundation for Economic Education (CFEE—a nonprofit organization) to present a session designed to help students build valuable financial literacy skills.
The workshop will draw from CFEE’s Money and Youth: Student Guide to Financial Literacy and related resources, offering students a unique opportunity to explore topics such as
- Goal setting and decision-making
- Planning for the future
- Banking, saving, and the use of credit
- Budgeting to achieve goals
- Careers and entrepreneurship
- Financing and planning for post-secondary education
It will also guide students on how to access and use CFEE and other resources effectively as they adapt to new learning environments and prepare for post-secondary education and future career realities.
Target Audience:
1st and 2nd-year students from all majors.
