About film: Stories of hope and homecoming intersect as Indigenous multimedia changemakers learn and document the teachings of their Elders.
s-yéwyáw: Awaken at UBC Robson Square on Friday September 27. Core team members Liz Marshall and Alfonso Salinas will be joining us after the film for a panel discussion with Kristin Kozar.
Support workers from the Indian Residential School Survivors Society will be onsite to offer cultural support. The IRSSS provides care to Survivors and Intergenerational Survivors who are experiencing intergenerational trauma. Read more about the IRSSS here: https://www.irsss.ca/about
