Motion Metrics Ltd is a London-based, sports technology scale-up with offices in London (UK) and Innsbruck (Austria). Our first product is Carv, the world’s first digital ski coach. Our smart trackers retrofit to any ski boot to measure motion, which is then processed via our iOS or Android app to provide real time coaching.

We have worked with top-level instructors from PSIA (The Professional Ski Instructors of America), CSIA (Canadian Ski Instructors Association) & Interski to create algorithms that effectively assess ski technique. Carv gives real-time feedback through your headphones, to help take your skiing to the next level through practical, skier-specific advice.

Each year we recruit interns to join us for the winter in London and Innsbruck, Austria. We have two roles available:

• Hardware interns, who will do everything from designing and testing prototype hardware on snow through to supervising our manufacturing lines in China and designing parts of the Carv hardware manufactured in 100k+ volumes.
• Customer Success interns, outgoing, customer-focused individuals, with the ability to produce high quality work both as part of a team and under their own initiative. A knack for problem-solving , is a must. and CS interns will listen to customer service issues and then offer a unique and effective solution to each problem.

All interns will spend up to three months based in our accommodation and office in Innsbruck, the capital of the beautiful North Tyrol region and a world-renowned snowsports destination.
