Launch Your Career with Purpose at Metrolinx: Engineering & Project Delivery Early Talent Programs
Are you ready to shape the future of infrastructure, rapid transit, and project delivery? Join us for a virtual info session hosted by our Metrolinx Early Talent team to learn about exciting full-time and student opportunities designed to kickstart your career in engineering and project management.
We’ll be spotlighting three key programs:
- Capital Projects Group (CPG): Early Career Development Program
A 4-year rotational program designed to develop future Project Managers and prepare participants for PMP certification. Gain hands-on experience across the project lifecycle, project controls, and adjacent disciplines. - Rapid Transit: Engineering Development Program (EDP)
A 3-year rotational program focused on developing future engineering leaders and supporting their journey toward obtaining a P.Eng designation. Experience real-world challenges and mentorship across engineering functions. - Co-op and Internship Opportunities: Structured placements (4, 8, or 12 months) aligned with your academic studies, offering hands-on experience and professional development. Many students transition into full-time roles!
Eligibility Highlights:
- Open to students and recent grads in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, and Mechatronics), Urban Planning, or Architecture.
- Full-time roles begin June/July 2026
- Co-op/internship roles available in January, May, and September
- Must not have prior employment at Metrolinx (excluding student/co-op roles)
- Must have a valid G Driver’s license
Who Should Attend:
Post-secondary students and recent graduates interested in full-time or student opportunities in engineering, urban planning, architecture, or project delivery.
The level of students (e.g., final year of study) Open to any level
Open to Alumni (Must have graduated from a post-secondary program in Engineering, Urban Planning, or Architecture within the last 2 years (no earlier than June 2024), or will be graduating as of June 2026)
