Employer on Campus: Jeollanamdo Office of Education International Education Institute
November 6 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
JEIEI (Jeollanamdo Office of Education International Ed. Institute) is an education institute under a provincial office of education in South Korea, and we are looking to invite UBC students interested in careers in TESL (teaching English as a second language)! In this information session, our team will introduce our programs and the direct and prioritized routes to living and working in Korean public schools, specifically in the southeastern province of Jeollanamdo. Students joining the session will be able to learn about the role of a Native English Teacher, what they can expect from living in Korea, as well as the necessary requirements for the position. This would be a great opportunity to gain some real insight into working abroad, as well as meaningful experiences making an impact on your students.
Target Audience:
Seeking students from the UBC TESL program (certificate, diploma, Masters) or those majoring in Education. Students from other majors are also welcome!
Attending Representative:
Anne Ko, Educational Supervisor
