Centering Primary Health Care in the Advancement of Perinatal Mental Health

Join the UBC Science of Physiologic Birth Cluster for our upcoming webinar on perinatal mental health, in collaboration with the Daymark Foundation.
Primary health care is the main entry point for perinatal care in Canada, where perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs) affect an estimated 23% of individuals nationally and 28% in Newfoundland and Labrador. Led by the Daymark Foundation, a collaboration of government, policymakers, health experts, and people with lived experience is advancing perinatal mental health care through primary care. The presentation will provide an overview of the project and progress to date, with evaluation results expected in 2027.
The webinar will be presented by Lauren Jones-Davies, Uppala Chandrasekera, and Karen Clarke.
