Career Exploration with Tea and Challenge Cards
July 7 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Career Exploration with Tea and Challenge Card
In this in-person workshop, students are able to engage in self-reflection and career exploration through the multisensory experience of the Chinese tea ceremony and the gamified experience of challenge card deck. The smell, warmth and taste of tea bring students to be in tune with their bodies. In a relaxing time/space, students will engage in a gamified experience of challenge cards to explore career interests and paths and identify barriers and support needed. It is intended to be an experiential session for students to engage in introspective thinking and reflection in a relaxing time/space.
The session will be with Ran Xiang, an associate career advisor and a PhD candidate in Curriculum Studies. She has developed research expertise on the Chinese tea ceremony and sensory pedagogy.
