Canada’s Immuno-Engineering and Biomanufacturing Hub (CIEBH) Town Hall

April 5, 2023 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Canada’s Immuno-Engineering and Biomanufacturing Hub (CIEBH), led by UBC, is one of five national research hubs established through the integrated Canada Biomedical Research Fund (CBRF) and Biosciences Research Infrastructure Fund (BRIF) competition. CIEBH is pursuing an integrated program of biomedical research and talent development, along with building associated infrastructure to support the development and manufacturing of medical treatments in B.C. and Canada. The hub’s vision is to make Canada a global epicentre for developing next-generation immune-based therapeutics that can be rapidly produced domestically, using the latest innovations in biomanufacturing, in response to future pandemics and other health threats.

As part of Stage 2 of the integrated CBRF-BRIF competition, CIEBH is coordinating research and infrastructure project submissions toward a share of $570M in federal funding.

Join CIEBH for a virtual Town Hall on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 3–4:30 pm PDT/6–7:30 pm EDT, where they will share information about Stage 2 of the CBRF-BRIF competition to date and details on the CIEBH expression of interest (EOI) process. This public town hall will feature an information session and a live Q&A period. A recording of the information session only and a summary of the topics discussed during the Q&A will be posted on the CIEBH website following the event.
