This event brings together learners, faculty, partners, and global surgery practitioners from across British Columbia and around the world.
Join us as we:
- Showcase projects from our educational program candidates
- Highlight Global Surgery Lab research and activities with a session led by Drs. Emilie Joos and Shahrzad Joharifard
- Feature global surgery initiatives at UBC and throughout BC
- Honour Dr. Robert Taylor, founder of the Branch and a pioneer in global surgical care
This event welcomes:
- BC’s surgical, anesthesia, maternity care, and allied health providers engaged in global surgery
- Students and alumni of the Branch
- Global Surgery Lab members
- Partners in rural and remote BC and Low-and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs)
