Anne Tilley Lecture: Towards Anti-Ableism: Noticing, Questioning , and Shifting Everday Norms, Elisabeth Walker-Young & Shawna Lawson

The School of Kinesiology would like to invite you to join us for the inaugural Anne Tilley Lecture on Disability in Kinesiology. This lecture honours the work of Dr. Anne Tilley, an Associate Professor Emerita whose commitment to inclusive education, recreation and physical activity continues to shape this community. Anne Tilley is an Associate Professor Emerita of Human Kinetics (1958 – 1993) specializing in growth and development. Her work included substantive applied work in adaptive skill development. Future lectures in this series will be supported through the endowment she established. This year’s lecture is also an opportunity to invite guests to see the School’s new ‘home’ in the Gateway Health Building.
